Quick Facts

  • There are 20 student’s dormitories in the NTUU “KPI” Campus (block dormitories and corridor dormitories), including 3 hotel-type dormitories for married students
  • Number of inhabitants in NTUU “KPI” dormitories is 14 thousand of students.

 What do you need to live in dormitory 

For settlement into dormitory foreign student should:
1.Obtain  accommodation reference (building 31, room 2-03)

2.Fill the agreement on accommodation in the Student’s Administration office (22Yanhelya Str., dormitory number 3, first floor, room 9);

  1. Pay accommodation fee in the Student’s Administration office(18/20 Yanhelya Str.);
    4.Obtain a permission for accommodation in the Student’s Administration office;
    5.Obtain the “entry pass” in the Access Control Department (№3, Metalistov Str.)
    6.Go through medical testing (№.3,Getmana Str., 4th Floor, Room. № 413)
    • a blood test for HIV;
    • fluorography;
    • dermatologist examination;
    • physician  examination;
    • Malaria test.

Medical Insurance

Foreign citizens are obliged to have an insurance policy in order to get emergency medical assistance. Insurance Policy fee is determined according to an agreement with insurance company.

Students and postgraduate students each year must attend a medical examination and must be tested on the absence of HIV infection. Students from Africa also must be tested on the absence of malaria.

Permit for Residence

Permit for temporary residence in Ukraine

To obtain a Permit for temporary residence in Ukraine foreign citizen within three days after arriving in Ukraine shall submit to the division of passport and visa of the Centre for International Education and the following documents:

  1. Application
  2. Passport of a foreigner with a visa D, unless otherwise is provided by law and international treaties of Ukraine, and copies of pages of personal data and visa.
  3. Ukrainian translated pages of foreigner’s passport with personal data certified by notary or translation centre.
  4. Receipts of payment of the state fee.
  5. Six photos of 3,5 x4, 5 cm (on matte paper).

A Permit for temporary residence in Ukraine is issued for all period of training.

If during the period of validity of permit for temporary residence in Ukraine in the sub paragraphs 2-3 changes have taken place, the following documents must be submitted to the Passport and Visa Section (academic building 31, room 2-01) of the CIE of NTUU “KPI” within 10 days from the date of this changes has been made.

Permit is issued to foreigner citizen against countersignature, stamp is putted down with a seal of State Migration Service of Ukraine a on last blank page in the passport of foreign citizen.

Foreign citizen has to register the place of residence during 10 days after permit obtaining, but in case of its changing – make re-register procedure due to law of Ukraine “Freedom of movement and free choice of residence in Ukraine”.

After the end of training in the absence of grounds for extension of a temporary residence foreigner is obliged to:

  1. In seven days period to withdraw the registration of residence.
  2. Return a Permit of temporary residence in Ukraine and passport to the Passport and Visa Section (academic building 31, room 2-01) of the CIE of NTUU “KPI”.
  3. Get the “Resolution” of State Migration Service of Ukraine and passport with annulled mark in the stamp of permit temporary residence in Ukraine.
  4. Leave Ukraine.
