Pre-admission Department

Pre-admission Department provides learning of needed language for study and communication (Russian/Ukrainian),
also trains students in fundamental disciplines that are needed for admission to the University:

  • mathematics
  • physics
  • chemistry
  • drawing
  • country study

Lessons on the Pre-admission Department may begin in any month of the academic year, as soon as group (10-12 people) of foreign students of one specialty will be formed.

Pre-admission Department directions of training:

  • Engineering and Technical;
  • Economical;
  • Humanitarian;

Training in English is provided in case if there will be formed a group of foreign students of 10-12 people in one specialty.
After graduation from the Pre-admission Department, participants will receive the Certificate of a State standard (make like a link, I have this document scanned) that gives the right to apply to any higher education institutions in Ukraine.

Baccalaureate

Bachelor – education and qualification level of higher education, which provides a theoretical knowledge and practical skills sufficient to successfully perform of professional duties in chosen specialty.

Admission of foreign citizens to the “Bachelor” academic program is carrying out on a competitive basis and in the form of a placement testing.

The main conditions for admission of a foreign citizen to complete Bachelor’s academic program are:

  1. a)  possession of a document certifying a senior secondary education;
  2. b) language skills at a sufficient level for training, which is confirmed by a certificate of completion of the Pre-admission Department.

For foreigners who are planning to train in the NTUU “KPI” in English, it is possible to enroll to the university(as a fisrt year student) after successful passing of Placement testing without completion of a course of Pre-admission Department.
